Class Description: Discover how your own structure: your blood, bone and breath, can spark your imagination for embodied character.  Build a skillful process that allows you to be resilient when performing an emotionally complex character - and leaving it behind. Learn how to identify and find inspiration in the physical elements of the story each character must tell. Work authentically, and practically -- actors have used our approach when performing in a variety of mediums: from Shakespeare to contemporary TV series.

Class begins with exploring the geography of our bodies, building trust in our physically playful imaginations.  Similar to animal work and mask, this technique is elemental to the creative process of character transformation.

What to Prepare: Actors will bring in a specific character they wish to explore in the workshop.

Workshop Fee: $120
